Ndreams founded a new studio dedicated to large VR productions
While virtual reality is growing slowly but surely under the impulse of the Quest 2 and soon from the PlayStation VR2, the studio Dreams intends to remain true to this segment to which it has been dedicated since 2013.
Already known for games like The Assembly, Phantom: Covert Ops, Far Cry VR and Fracked, Dreams today announces the training of Dreams Studio Elevation, a studio whose team will specialize in creating AAA games in virtual reality. Operating according to a hybrid model based first on remote recruitment, waiting for the opening of premises somewhere in the UK, Dreams Studio Elevation will be led by Glenn Brace, so far artistic director of the studio and creator of the concept of the concept of Phantom: Covert Ops.
This studio joins Dreams Studio Orbit, another recently announced studio that on its own devotes to free-to-play games and services, still in virtual reality. In addition to these studios, Dreams launched last year its publishing label aimed at taking under its wing of the games of other independent studios. Little Cities by Purple Yonder is the first title from this initiative.
